Just in Time for Valentines Day. This month’s chart chat is on Relationships. It is on Feb 10 in Silver Spring, MD.
See http://www.janetszodiac.com/monthly-astrological-chart-chats.html for details.
I love to say I told you so; for the last 8 months I have stated that the Uranus/Pluto Square we are experiencing this year is the next evolution of the Uranus Conjunct Pluto that we experienced from 1964 to 1969. Uranus/Pluto brings in revolutionary energy and the promise to totally transform society. Of course I’m not that smart, all of the astrologers I know predicted the same thing.
At the same time that Uranus/Pluto is in a square aspect, Saturn is opposing and squaring Pluto. Saturn turned retrograde on the day the protests started in Egypt. Saturn was opposite Uranus from 1917 to 1923 at the time of the Russian Revolution. Also, this year Jupiter entered Aries on Jan 22. Jupiter is expansive and Aries is the energy needed to go out and express the need for freedom. This complex configuration of planets started in 2010 and will be with us for the next 4 years.
What was the trigger that started all of this revolutionary fever? Our friend Julian Assange, of course. Both Business Week and Foreign Policy magazine state that while unemployment and inflation were the underlying causes of the revolution in Tunisia, the trigger was one of the U.S. Government cables released by Wikileaks exposed the corruption of Tunisia’s President, Ben Ali. Ben Ali’s family was called by Wikileaks a mafia-esque elite who have their hands in every cookie jar in the entire economy. Wikileaks was blocked by the authorities in Tunisia and then Wikileaks started using social networking sites to find activists and dissidents. Wikileaks was the catalyst that pushed the people of Tunisia over the brink. Foreign Policy magazine headline reads: The First Wikileaks Revolution? Then, the revolution in Tunisia sparked the revolution in Egypt.
The Oxford Astrologer blog states that Tunisia has Jupiter/Uranus conjunction of its Sun and that Egypt is having it’s second Saturn return. What happened in Egypt at the last Saturn Return back in 1981? President Anwar Sadat was assassinated. See the Oxford Astrologer for the birth charts of Egypt and Tunisia. http://oxford-astrologer.blogspot.com/

Dates to Watch:
Feb 2 – New Moon at 13 Aquarius. A powerful new moon. Saturn is in a positive trine to this new moon. It brings in the promise of harmony in relationships. Mars is conjunct this new moon, bringing in energy to manifest what we want to unfold during this month. If you have personal planets at 13 Aquarius and/or Leo you will feel energized by this New Moon.
Venus Square Uranus. The ancient astrologers said this is a time to have a peculiar love life with abnormal inclinations. What did they mean? Speaking in today’s lingo, you may feel a little kinky today.
Feb 3 – Mercury enters Aquarius until Feb 21. Your mind is free to explore unusual, far-out subjects.
Feb 4 – Venus enters Capricorn until March 1. Any relationship that you get into during this period will be practical and based on security. In other words, you become a real gold digger.
Sun conjunct Mars. You are full of creative power, ambition and courage. Get things done today.
Feb 6 – Mars Trine Saturn. Another good day for productive work. You have the willpower and the perseverance you need to succeed.
Venus Square Jupiter. Wait until your work is done and then indulge yourself. Get in a hot tub filled with chocolate.
Feb 9 – Venus Conjunct Pluto. Very intense romantic feelings. You can get fanatical about finding your “soul mate”.
Feb 14 – Mercury Trine Saturn. Good powers of concentration. A good day to do your taxes.
Feb 17 – Sun Conjunct Neptune. You are very receptive to higher level impressions. Try meditation
Feb 18 Full Moon at 29 Leo. Mars and Neptune are conjunct this Full Moon. You have the energy to fulfill your dreams.
Sun enters Pisces until March 20. This is a creative time of the year when we want to go to plays, listen to music, enjoy museums.
Feb 20 – Mercury Conjunct Mars. You feel like arguing today. You start harping on something and start nagging everyone around you. But realize the people around you are in the same combative mood.
Mercury Conjunct Neptune. You could be psychic today; you see the future and talk to the spirits.
Mars Conjunct Neptune. Your energy is put into being highly imaginative and creative.
The above three aspects will impact you if you have any personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars or the Ascendant at 28 to 29 degrees of Aquarius or Leo). A very creative time for you. You have great powers of imagination.
Feb 21 Mercury enters Pisces until March 9. Your mind is very sensitive to other peoples vibrations during this period.
Feb 22 – Mars enters Pisces until April 1. Your energy field is a little weak during this period. Watch out for vampires.
Feb 25 – Sun Conjunct Mercury. You are very bright today; all sorts of ideas come in. Especially if you have personal planets or the ascendant at 7 degrees of Pisces.
Jupiter Square Pluto at 7 Aries and 7 Capricorn. This is the most important aspect of the month, since two outer planets are in a challenging aspect to each other. Jupiter expands any planet it touches and Pluto is about power. There could be some underhanded tactics in your environment, and/or fanatical desire to exploit the masses in the global community. This is especially important time for you if you have personal planets at 7 Aries or Capricorn.
OUTER PLANET TRANSITS
JUPITER moved into Aries on January 22, 2011. This month he is moving from 2 Aries to 8 Aries. Now is a time to re-evaluate our belief systems especially if you have the ascendant, sun or moon at 2 to 8 degrees of Aries or Libra.
SATURN is in Libra (structure, foundation, and responsibility) until Oct 2012. This month Saturn is moving retrograde from 17 to 16 degrees of Libra. If you have the Ascendant or any personal planets at 16 or 17 degrees of Libra in your natal chart, you may be in store for some hard lessons around the issues ruled by the planet and the house the planet is in or rules. Libra rules relationships of all kinds and Saturn may ask you to take on more responsibility for how your relationships can work.
URANUS will move into Aries in March 2011. This month Uranus is in Pisces moving from 28 to 29 degrees of Pisces all month. Wanting freedom and a need to make radical changes will be felt by those with the Ascendant, Sun and personal planets at 28 to 29 degrees of Pisces or Virgo. I believe in “cooperating with the inevitable”. If you have Uranus in a challenging aspect to your ascendant or personal planets, go on a long vacation, move, or make some major changes in your life.
NEPTUNE is in Aquarius until April, 2011. Neptune (creativity, sensitivity, escapism, dreams) is moving from 28 to 29 degrees of Aquarius this month. Neptune in Aquarius is a time of visionary reform. A lack of focus, a sense of drifting or an inability to see a betrayal or disappointment until it’s too late can be experienced by Sun in Aquarius and Aquarius Ascendant types. This effect will be strongest in those with personal planets at 28 to 29 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Scorpio in their natal chart. For the enlightened out there, Neptune can also bring artistic, musical, creative expression, increased dreams and spiritual insights.
PLUTO is in Capricorn until 2023. This month Pluto will travel from 6 to 7 degrees of Capricorn all month. Everyone is feeling the urge to purge and to find his or her truth. Profound changes will be felt especially by those with Sun, Ascendant or personal planets at 5 or 6 degrees of Capricorn or Cancer.
